When should I start testing my ovulation?

I'm on CD 8. My period ended the day before yesterday. So when should I start testing for ovulation. Also, when I start testing, should I just do 1 test at midday? Or 2 tests, one in the morning and one at night? TIA!

Everyone always says test day after period once a day in afternoon until you see it get darker then switch and do two a day. I personally started on cd 10 (4 days after period) because I have a long cycle and always ovulate cd 22/23🤷🏼‍♀️

You should start CD10, depending on your average cycle length, once a day in the afternoon. Once the line starts getting darker you want to test multiple times a day until you catch your surge.
