Family visitors?

Are you all letting your family members come meet your newborns? My baby is 1 week old. We let both grandmas come visit, but now we’re saying no one else until May and it’s not going over well.

Unless they have been house bound for 2 weeks they can't see the baby. That's our deal. My mother will be the only one to see the baby so far because she's stayed home and stocked up on freezer meals. my father is still working out in the public and my in-laws are not taking this seriously. If they don't like it they can have their own baby.

No one is coming over until this all dies down 😔. My parents can see her through a window or outside as long as we're at least 5 ft apart. Such a weird time!

In our state, it's illegal right now, only "essential" travels/visits are allowed. My daughter is almost a month old (due April, but born mid-March) and still no one has met her yet. Unfortunately, no one will until May, because the order is in effect until May 1st.

I’m just letting my grandparents meet her , my husband is an essential worker and his job told him last week that he needs to start working in the Bronx were it’s a big hot spot, he’s an oil driver, the hospital where I will be having the baby won’t let him in if he’s been to the city , this is very very scary. His job is not taking is seriously and they know I’m giving birth on 4/20. But I will either bring her from the hospital to my grandparents house because I know they don’t let anyone around , and they are in there 80s and I make sure that they meet every great grand kid and spend as much time as possible. And then we will just come home but I’m o oh letting certain people come to my house that I know are safe. My parents won’t even meet her . We don’t speak so my aunt and uncle are my kids grandparents. They stepped up! But right now everyone meets her thru FaceTime and window view:( can’t wait for all this to be over !

My daughter is one week old today too!😊 And nope we're not, my mom got to briefly meet her but only because she had to bring my other two kiddos home (her and my dad were watching them while Ivie and I were in the hospital). Everyone but my husband's family seems to understand why too, inlaws can really be the worst sometimes🙄

I’m allowing everyone to see her though our bedroom window until everything blows over no one will be allowed in the house at all and luckily everyone agrees it’s what’s best

Only my mom will be staying in my house quarantined with us to help me with baby. Other family members can look at her through window or FaceTime. 
It’s just what’s best right now.

We are keeping it to grandparents only right now. Don’t let people push you into something your not comfortable with! The health of your baby is #1. I’m sorry your feelings are hurt, but my baby’s health is my #1 concern!

They’re going to have to wait. Babies have no immune systems and we can’t take that chance.

In our country / state 
Gatherings of more than 2 are fined 
And if they deem your travel unessential they can fine you while driving 
They have made it clear no one is to be visiting grandchildren and such 
So we don’t really have an option
