Crying...hypothyroidism or plateau?
Sooo I’ve been dieting since Jan.13 of this year and I went from 196 to 171 as of April 7th. I haven’t always been strict so I feel that i could’ve lost more. And my last ten pounds came off within these past two weeks because I hit a plateau at 180. I just recently became stricter on my diet which is how I lost the ten but now I haven’t been able to lose anymore. I’ve been trying for a whole week and nothing has happened. I’ve restricted more calories and even upped my exercise but NOTHING. Everything I have looked up on the internet has pointed me to hypothyroidism or diabetes. The diabetes makes a little sense because I kept getting diabetes bullae last year(I also used to get it when I was a child)but when my A1C (last year) was checked, everything was normal.I’ve never been diagnosed with diabetes( I was diagnosed with prediabetes, but I wanted to make a change before it actually happened) even though it was checked several times. I’ve never been been diagnosed with a thyroid problem even though I’ve been checked several times. My cycle is also a week late according to the app. I hope that everything that is going on is cycle related. Maybe the pms is making me not lose weight because of bloat or whatever but it’s highly annoying. I’ve been a tad weak, cramping like there’s no tomorrow, emotional, and everything else. I also slept for 15 hours between yesterday and today. I really hope it’s my cycle messing with everything because I don’t want to go to the doctor with the COVID 19 going on. Any suggestions?
