For months now my son will drink some liquid to quench his thirst then once satisfied he will sip the liquid and hold it in his mouth until he can find a spot to spit it out. So like he'll find a lego, a hat, a surface/table, the vacuum, a box, anything! Most recently, the carpet. He will get down on his hands and knees and spit it in the same spot over and over. He'll do this until hes emptied his cup and splash around in the mess if its on a surface. Its driving me insane. I've never seen anything like this. I don't understand it. When I catch him and take his drink away he loses it. Does anyone else have this issue or tips on how to stop it? Its been months. Its driving me crazy! 😩 He's 1yr going on 2(22mo).
