Introducing a bottle
So I've exclusively breastfed my baby for 7 months now but in just under a month I start my new job, which requires me to be in the office 2 weekends a month for 6 hours in the morning.
We are currently in 'dad training' so her daddy and her can get used to each other a bit more for the essentials even though I'll be home the majority of the time. She's finally started to go down for a nap when he takes her to bed and doesn't cry if I leave the room now 🤗 but the one thing we are struggling with is her bottles.
I unfortunately can't pump, I've been trying and failing for months now. So we are having to use formula from here on out, but I don't think it's the taste that is the problem. I've got larger nipples being a lady of colour and all that so I've got a medium flow teat and it's definitely the most successful bottle teat we've used, but she just doesn't want it sometimes.
Essentially, she will maybe drink an ounce or two from it and then not want any more. Other times she won't want it at all. We've been trying for a couple of weeks now, I'm still breastfeeding her because I'm not looking to stop just yet.
Oh, and she's teething.
Any tips for how to introduce the bottle ????
