Was your husband beside you during the labor?

Question

I’ll have c-section in April 20th, and Kaiser told me I cannot have anyone beside me during the labor, not even my husband 
And only one person can stay in the hospital and he cannot go out of a hospital and come back again
I’m so upset 
Does anyone have the same situation?

My husband wasn’t allowed to be by me for the csection they let him stand outside of the OR doors and watch through the window. I must say though, our hospital did a phenomenal job of giving me a support nurse during it all and even gave him one to stand with to keep him calm while watching. When it came to the hospital stay, he was allowed to leave but if he did he couldn’t come back until the next day.

My husband isn’t even allowed in the hospital! Only patients- no visitors at all until May 1 and possibly later if they extend the lockdown.

Why will you be in labor if your having a scheduled csection?
My son was a scheduled csection last Thursday, my husband was in the or and stayed at the hospital with us but they asked for no in and out of the until. 
We only stayed 1 night and went home Friday morning.

My husband can be there for the labour but thence has to leave and can't stay over night after my c section. Hospitals are being silly. No one can agree on anything and I'm pissed my husband won't be there for 2 days after the birth of our kid. I don't think that's fair to him me the baby or the nurses

So crazy. Different hospital rules all around...it’s so confusing. Thankfully my scheduled C-section was two weeks ago and my husband was able to be sitting next to me during the C-section and was able to stay in recovery with me for the duration of my stay. I can’t imagine having to have done it alone. My heart breaks for anyone that does. 🙁💔

Yes me, and it’s my first 😢 C section  scheduled for 16th. He is not even allowed 100 m before hospital entrance, only myself and I have to go through screening before entering

I had a c section this past Thursday. My husband was allowed to be with me the entire time, through prepping, the epidural, he was at my side near my head through the c-section it self as well. They preferred he didn’t leave the hospital campus more than once and if he left labor and delivery he had to be rechecked before being allowed back in. They allowed only 1 support person at my hospital

I had a c-section Friday. My husband was allowed in the OR. He was also able to come and go during my stay in the hospital. The L&D department is the only department in my hospital allowing this and you can only have 1 support person who gets a special band.

Ask them to take a video or pics with your phone. I’m a nurse, not an L&D nurse but I know they will do it if you ask them
