hello everyone, I was thinking during this difficult time that myself and a couple of friends start an Instagram of everyone's DV stories.

Since almost everyone is home and on social media its a good time to share stories.

I've been in two abusive relationships (one more physical and the other more mental).

We feel for the households who feel like they are locked down for life with their abusers and don't feel there is a way out.

I see so many people posting on this app and it makes me sad that some people on other platforms cannot see the stories, and maybe could benefit from it.

This app actually helped me leave my ex when I was 3months pregnant. I'm so thankful, if I never signed up for this app I'd probably still be with him longer than I should've.

I share my stories all the time with other people and we all agree on one thing :

* we always hear about people's stories, but no real place to share from around the world in ONE place.

I'd like to make an Instagram whomever was in an abusive relationship, grew up around abuse, if you encountered abuse.

We'd like to make it a safe place, no judgment.
