Try and hold out until atleast 9dpo if you can but remember that it can take longer to get an accurate result. (I got mine at 11dpo)

Wait as long as you can possibly stand.
Implantation can be as late as 12DPO and HCG does not start building until after implantation. 
I’m 8wks right now and if I had tested at 9, 10, 11, or even 12 DPO I would have had a BIG FAT NEGATIVE! 
You’re not out until AF shows up. Don’t stress and find ways to get your mind off things and show yourself some love. Take a walk or a bubble bath and enjoy the moment you’re in. Stress is the fastest way to lose a pregnancy and dick with the start of your period.
