Has anyone had an umbilical (bellybutton) hernia repaired with mesh and then gotten pregnant? I thought we were done with kids so I went ahead last summer (July 2014) and got it repaired. It was caused from my 2nd pregnancy.

Well obviously plans changed and I got pregnant again (I'm 12 weeks tomorrow). And now I'm really nervous and to what's going to happen to my repair. I asked my Dr and she said it will probably be uncomfortable but I should be fine. From what I've read sometimes the lining pulls away from the mesh (OWW!). And I really don't want to go through another repair, it sucked!

So has anyone made it through without reinjury or pain free?!
