My five year old stepson told is a story a while ago about his mom's boyfriend punishing her on the face. At the time he had the ankle monitor so we checked for what and he was arrested for assault to a family member. My husband asked her about it and she got mad and started going on about him minding his own business. Some time has passed they have a baby and live together (with my stepson). Today he told us another story about how a few days ago he was holding his mom against the wall saying that he was going to smash her head against the wall and that she kicked him out but he came back to get a knife and he was saying he was going to kill himself. My 5 year old said that he was scared that his mom was going to die because maybe they're fighting right now. What can my husband do to help? Their relationship is not the best there's always been a lot of pettiness and fighting between them. Is she right and it's not his business, how can he help her with out making it a custody fight. He is the closest to his mom and little brother we wouldn't like to hurt her or my stepson in any way but knowing that he witness that really scared me. I'm sorry if this is all over the place 😥
