Prayer warriors come forth! I am seeking prayer for my husband. He has been working three weeks straight with no break, and tonight is his late night. He works ten hours away from home, shares a room with 3 other men, with 8 total people sharing the trailer. He is a Derrick man on a drilling rig. With all that’s going on right now, (corona virus, dropping oil prices, work slowing down, etc), he is looking at a lay-off when he finally gets to come home tomorrow! My husband is an extremely strong man, but tonight he called me in tears because he has been putting his heart and soul into his job and is so afraid of being laid off. He is also purely mentally exhausted at this point. He is usually pretty passive when it comes to just “walking away” from bad coworkers/bosses, but the other day he got into it with another man who has been giving him heck out there on the job (throwing words, not hands). He is our only source of income also, because I stay home with our baby. We’ve already discussed that if he gets laid off, we will switch rolls for a while. I’ll go back to work, and he will stay home with our daughter. All of that being said, my husband also asked me to say a prayer for him tonight, because of everything he’s going through mentally. I know that there is power in numbers, so I am asking all of you who read this to please lift my husband up in prayer tonight! Pray for an easygoing last night, with no more confrontation, and a safe and easy drive home to us tomorrow! Please y’all, stand with me in this time of need. Thank you!
