Is anyone else nervous about too many visitors right after delivery??

No cause I already told my husband that for a few hours no one is coming in the room. I don't care what people say that's our time with the baby and they ain't gonna be hovering all over our baby until we had some bonding time

No one will know when you deliver, unless you tell them so you can wait as long as you'd like. Once I announced, people would text and ASK if/when they could come visit. Even though it's an exciting time, people need to have common courtesy.

No, we have firmly told all family and friends that it is just us until we say. And then people have to call and ask before coming.

We have a huuuuuuuge circle of friends and my family includes like a million people 😅😫😫 Its cool but I dont want anyone to touch the baby for the first few weeks even if that sounds rude... They're all welcome tho

We told family that no one is aloud to visit at the hospital. And since she will be born during high cold and flu season no visitors right away when we come home either. It's also a plus that 97% of our family is across the country.

I really didn't wanna see anyone after I gave birth. But I had multiple stitches and a hemorrhoid. I was in real pain and discomfort. I was still visited by a lot of people. It's just to let you know, whether or not you want them to come by, they probably still will. Lol.

Yea we went to a breastfeeding class and they said the first 2 hours or so are meant to be just you hubby and baby but I'd love to make it longer since my hubby's family will be in town staying with us the first week so I won't have much privacy at home

No because in the first week we only want our close relatives coming over. After the week is over we will sent our invites to other friends and family.

The first two hours it was just me and my fiancé. After that our parents came in. Later that day family. The next day friends visited. I enjoyed having visitors though. Even when we got home. It made me a little less stir crazy.

I'm nervous about my PARENTS going crazy. Yesterday (33 weeks) I had to make an emergency doc visit & I called my mom just to let her know but I felt fine, just feeling a little strange.  On my way home, my dad calls saying "Your mom told me you're hospitalized?!!!! What happened?!!?"

Wtf.  Calm the drama down. Ahhhhh!!!! I can't say anything without everyone freaking out.
