Overthinking it ? (Relationship advice)

Me and my bf just recently passed our 6 month mark , he dosent really seem like that thrilled about it . Is it ok for people in a relationship to not celebrate the amount of months we’ve had together ?? Idk I guess I just compare my relationship to others too much :(

It’s definitely okay not to put an emphasis on anniversaries. My boyfriend and I simply acknowledge the day and let it be that. We don’t do anything fancy. I agree with the previous comment. Most people celebrate the years more. When you start comparing, just remember that your relationship is not the same as everybody else’s. If you’re truly bothered by it, just talk about it. It’s not a huge deal so don’t let that be the deal breaker. A relationship is so much more than the anniversaries.

Honestly my boyfriend and I don’t make a big deal out of month anniversary. Just the years ones matters. At times he does surprises me with something small like snacks or flowers but he normally does that already. Let’s me know oh it’s been this long we have been together but to celebrate no. I feel like it’s the years when you celebrate. That’s how I feel.
