Clomid Cycle With No Ultrasound?

I have PCOS and I’m currently on my second round of Clomid 50mg. I went In for two ultrasounds on my last cycle because I had two follicles that were growing slowly so they needed to recheck the growth. Both follicles were mature enough and at the 2nd ultrasound my Dr gave me the all clear to try if we were comfortable with the possibility of twins. My husband and I decided yes and we ended up having multiple BFPs and then the lines started to fade. I had bloodwork done and my Dr confirmed our fear of a chemical pregnancy. She gave the all clear to start another round of Clomid 50mg and I will take my final pill today. I called my OBGYN office to schedule the ultrasound only for them to tell me they wouldn’t be able to get me in until next Friday because they were short on their techs because of Coronavirus. Totally understandable. However that would put me out of my window and I would most likely ovulate (should there be mature follicles) that day and I will have lost precious BDing days leading up to ovulation. So my question is should I skip this ultrasound and continue to track my ovulation with my OPKs and BBTs? I can get the progesterone test after the fact but I’m running the risk of more than two follicles.... I know in one of the appointments I had with my Dr she said she recommended an ultrasound for the first cycle to see how sensitive I was to the medication and subsequent ultrasounds were more for peace of mind. Has anyone done an ultrasound the first time and not the 2nd time? Did you have more follicles the 2nd cycle?
