I’m a FTM and feel like I’m struggling with breastfeeding. I’m not sure if my baby is latching correctly - the past couple days it’s starting to hurt and my nipples are very sore. She has been ah omg enough wet and dirty diapers, but when she nurses, she mostly only eats for a few minutes before she unlatches.

All last week she refused to nurse from my left breast so I started pumping. But when I pump, I typically get less than 1/2 oz...I feel like this should be a lot more.

The pediatrician gave me a booklet that includes numbers for lactation consultants but of course none of them are covered by my insurance. I’m just not sure what to do!
