I am so upset because my baby shower has to be cancelled due to COVID19. I understand why and I know it’s the right thing to do, but I’m just so sad. I’m a first time mom and have been looking forward to my baby shower for a very long time. It’s not even about the gifts- just about gathering with my family and friends and finally being the mom that is being celebrated. I’ve tried to talk to my husband about this and he just thinks I’m being greedy and gift-grabbing, when it’s truly not about that at all. He doesn’t understand how sad this is making me and thinks I’m just being dramatic. Anyone else in the same situation? Any advice?
