Help, I have never had this before...

Hi ladies, I am 4 days away from predicted ovulation. The last period i had, I bled for two days and then was spotting brown for three days. (Not normal for me as mine are heavy and last 7 days) so I took a test and it was negative. But now I’m having lots of creamy discharge that’s white with some itty bitty brown strings in it. It doesn’t have a smell or anything. Also my cervix is high firm and open. And I haven’t taken a test since the brown spotting. Anyone else have this?
