39 weeks bloody discharge?

I had my cervix checked today. 3 hours later I noticed bloody discharge. Is this normal or should I be alarmed? 
Cervix was closed, but thinning.

Yes normal! I had a cervical exam today as well and experienced the same thing. My doctor said it would happen.

There’s pretty much bleeding after every exam at this point. My doctors alway last warn me upon finishing to expect some bloody show. If it’s crazy amount and bright red then be concerned. My 37 wk exam lasted 4days of gross bloody brown discharge/ bleeding
