Is a clearblue detection test supposed to have a negative line straight out the packaging?

I already used the test so cant post a pic its just there was a light negative line that just turned darker when i used it then the control line popped up...just wanted to make sure it wasnt faulty it was my first time using this test

Mine said negative before i used it there was a line in the circle
