So, I claimed our children when I filed for 2018, and my SO claimed them when he filed for 2019. I did not file 2019 taxes.

Today I received a stimulus payment in my bank account including $500 for each child. My SO hasn’t received his payment yet, but I’m worried he might also get money for each child.

Has this happened to anyone else? I cannot find this situation listed on the IRS website and it specifically says not to call about your payment. :/

UPDATE: Just to make things more confusing I guess, it appears the IRS deposited money today for my SO and $500 for each biological child, but not his unrelated child dependents.
