I know people have lots of opinions about inductions/c sections so please be kind 😬

My husband and I just moved to Alabama for his new job. We know no one and have no family within driving distance. The original plan was to call my mom when I went into labor and she was going to jump on a plane. We have two giant dogs who we were going to board until my mom got here and then she would watch them until we got home. Obviously now with this virus everything is messed up and I am so stressed about what we are going to do. The boarding place is closed and my mom is in NY where things are an absolute mess. Baby is measuring very big and I have a pelvic issue that has made the likelihood of me having a vaginal delivery very low, but my doctor said he’s going to let me try. Do you think it would be wrong of me to ask him about a scheduled induction? If we did this my mom could come early and isolate here for two weeks before he came and then be here to watch the dogs. The idea of my dogs living in their crates with only small bathroom breaks from a neighbor for a few days makes me so sad. I’ve also never imagined doing this without my mom 😭 any advice would be greatly appreciated.
