Late period

I am on the pill ( lessina ) and we use condoms. I am on my white pills or the sugar pills. Should i be on my period. The last time I was I am on my second set of pills. Some days I took the pill like 2 hours late bc I was at my friends but I always took them. And we use protection. Am I pregnant? I don’t have any symptoms. I am super tired but I think it’s bc I’m stuck inside because of quarantine. Thanks for the help!!

It can take 3-6 months for ur body to adjust to being on the birth control, so irregularities are normal during that time. Plus, ur withdrawal bleeding/“period” can come anytime during the sugar pills week, from the first day to the last day. And, one of the ways hormonal birth control works is by thinning the uterine lining, which can sometimes result in little to no bleeding. As long as ur taking the pills properly (including starting a new pack on time), then ur continuously 99.7% protected by the pills alone. And, if ur using condoms as well, then ur even more protected. So, it’s extremely unlikely that ur pregnant.

Every time u start or stop birth control ur body had to adjust to the hormones. So, since ur now on a different method & brand of birth control, ur body has to adjust to it & that can take 3-6 months.

I feel like my body should be used to birth control because I was on nexaplon for a year and only had my period twice.

Combination pills have a +/- 2 hour window for perfect use... so that still puts u in the 99.7% protected range. And, ur welcome!
