Madoka magica

I literally cannot sing this shows praises enough it's amazing

A phenomenal you written and animated masterpiece which truly explores important topics such as exploitation of Young girls, mental health and love vs desire.

I know most of you won't be into anime and I can somewhat understand why but this has been a smash hit with all my non anime loving friends-

As a side note the first 3-4 episodes are dedicated to painting an image of a peachy perfect light heated world that deserved to be saved, so be sure to not give up on the series before its truly begun

Derry girls

In contrast to the earlier recommendation derry girls is super light hearted and funny, it's set in the 90's in Ireland and covers the antics of a super witty and loveable cast of characters from weed scones to step aerobics this show is in my eyes comedy gold

She ra [2018 reboot]

Ik some of you may have grown up with the original however this is pretty different (FYI the characters are not sexualised like they were in the original nor are they all thin tall and white like in the original)

This is a delightfuly animated series with both a diverse and relatable set of super super well written characters. The show, despite perhaps being aimed at a younger audience is beautiful and well put together, full of amazing male and female role models including two openly lgbtq+ couples and a character who appears to be on the autistic spectrum.

It is a wholesome coming of age type story Wilst still retaining a good plot and character development
