Cold sore?

I just really need to know what this is and what to do for it

Is there anything new y’all see that could be something different or anything like that? Please do not make this seem like I think y’all’s previous responses were wrong at all, I just want to keep myself educated and do whatever needs to be done for it. Thank y’all so much!! It’s sorta whiteish on the top now & it’s gotten bigger.

Yes it looks like a cold sore. I usually keep ice on mine as much as possible. Keep it moist with lip balm or Vaseline. Just kinda gotta let it run its course at this point .

yeah that’s a cold sore, but a lot of people get them. you could of been born with it. just get some medicine over the counter and it will heal up

L Lysine. It’s a vitamin.
I get cold sores often, when I feel them coming on I pop L Lysine like it’s candy & it will prevent them.

It looks like a cold sore they're nothing to worry about and they're actually very common. Like one of the other comments you could have always had it and just never had a breakout. It can lay dormant for years but I usually get them if I'm dehydrated. L-lysine is a good vitamin to take to help keep from getting them I will tell you this though, dont pop it and dont touch it if at all possible. If can spread to other parts of your lip, to the inside of your nose as well as your eyes so if you do touch it just make sure to wash your hands after to prevent spreading! Hope this was helpful

Sadly yes, I get those too whenever I have a high fever or I touch cold floor. I used to use abreva but now I use lip clear lysine. That works better and its cheaper too. You can also see your doctor and they can prescribe you medicine and you can use that whenever you feel one coming.

I get cold sores a few times a year. If you have tea tree, dillute some on a qtip and clean it 3-5 a day. Use lysine lip ointment the drug store. And ice it at night. It will be gone in no time. That dries them out very quickly.
