Pp migraines. What do you take and do ?

My head has been pounding all day. 
I drink water non stop and I’ve eaten when I can. 
New born is taking it all out of me.

Tylenol, caffeine, heat and ice alternating

I take Relpax for mine. I am nursing still but the doctor said the amount that gets into the milk is not enough to worry about. I don’t have migraines daily though, generally a couple a month.

Sleep is what helps me but that’s so hard with a new born. Some people find caffeine helpful.  Avoid anything that would be a vasodilator (like asprin) - that will make the headache worse.   (Migraines are the opposite of a normal headache - the blood vessels in your head expand rather than contract like they do with a typical headache)
