I was wondring..

When I was a kid and I fell or damaged clothes, I'm pretty sure my mom (well usually more my grandmother) fixed my clothes and that was totally fine.. By everyone

However..

I do feel like society doesn't accept "fixed" clothes anymore?

Like they aren't nice enough for school and playgrounds and what not..

I still fix things sometimes, but I've noticed some people judge me for it. Like it's not good enough, if it's damaged just buy new stuff..

I just think it's a waste when it's just minor damage you could fix... Obviously I wouldn't send kids out in rags...

How do you guys feel about this?
