We recently decided to donate a vehicle to a program for veterans. They told us they'd be by tomorrow to pick it up. To our surprise, they show up this evening at 9:30, just as we're laying down to sleep. The tow driver gives us crap saying that if it's inconvenient we can just keep the damn car. We're letting him take it, of course. We support the cause, my husband is a veteran. But am I wrong to think that it's rude and inconsiderate for them to show up unannounced like this? They also claimed they'd call before sending someone out! We received no call.
