Short, frequent nursing sessions

Kaitlyn • Married, 26, 👶🫄

My baby is 4.5 months and is EBF and has been feeding every 2 hours for the past week or more, both night and day. Sometimes at night she'll go 3 hours, but typically it's just about 2. I feed on demand, but was wondering if there was a way to possibly stretch out the time between feedings. She is also just eating for 5-7 minutes on each side. Most nursing sessions do not last longer than 10 minutes. She has been going through a sleep regression and also teething so I wasn't sure if these short and frequent nursing sessions were just part of that or not. She had been nursing for 20+ mins at least 3 times a day with most other nursing sessions lasting 10-15 min and was nursing less frequently. She also does not want to comfort nurse anymore. I had been letting her comfort nurse for naps, but she gets really upset if I even offer it at naptimes. Is this just part of sleep regression or teething or is this normal for her to switch up her feeding like this? Is there something I can do to stretch out times between feedings or make nursing sessions last longer?
