Should I buy a Doppler?
I never really considered buying one but I'm 17 weeks and 4 days pregnant and I haven't felt my baby move yet. Because of the virus it's been over a month since I've seen my doctor and I can't get an appointment with her until a week after my 20 week scan is booked (so I'll be 22 weeks, plus I need to try and see a random doctor to get the referral for said scan). I'm getting nervous about not feeling the baby and not being able to go to my doctor and have her use the Doppler at her office. My husband suggested buying a Doppler but I don't know if it'd help or not. I've called the midwives up at the hospital and told them I'm basically not getting any antenatal care but they haven't called back yet (it's been over a week). I just feel a little lost because I'm worried about the baby but there's nothing I can do to reassure myself, at this point with my first I was feeling her movements regularly and seeing my doctor every 2 weeks but everything feels very different this pregnancy.
