Does anybody have this, or know about it?

My husband has some issues and refuses to go to the doctor over it. He does not have a doctor, eye doctor, or dentist he sees regularly. I understand some people prefer this, that’s his choice, but I can’t help but be concerned for him.

He often has trouble going to the bathroom. He will have days where he can’t. He gets a very upset stomach. He suffers from hemorrhoids often. He often has “different” colored BM (such as green). And worst of all, he goes through spells where he bleeds quite a bit when he uses the restroom. It’s hard to tell if it’s actual clots (it doesn’t look like it? Just a lot of blood.) but it is a bright/deep red like you would see when you have a heavy period flow.

When it first started I blamed the hemorrhoids, but it sometimes happens when he doesn’t have a flare up. Then I got scared and thought it was polyps/cancer. I know it can still be polyps, but it has been going on for years now so I’m starting to think it’s some other thing. Like some kind of chronic disease or something?

I have tried to talk him into seeing a doctor, I’ve even tried to talk to my own doctor about it. Of course they just advise him to come in.

Any ideas or things I can try/suggest to either alleviate his symptoms or persuade him to actually see the doctor?
