My aunt is my main babysitter if I have to go during the day and can't take my girls, but if I'm going out at night I leave them with my mom (we live together so the girls get to sleep in their own bed), but it is very rare that I leave them.

Childcare exchanges with other moms have always been my favorite. No money to exchange and the kids/babes get friends!

I can't imagine my son being with us 24/7. A. He needs to get used to us not always being there. B. We are still husband and wife and need some date nights. At least once a month. I think a lot of marriages fail because people focus on being mom and dad and forget they are still also husband and wife.

We go out fairly often around once every week or two weeks for a date night. We are of the mindset that our marriage is still really important and part of maintaining that is having time Just the two of us to talk and reconnect even if it's just a coffee or a movie or a full afternoon. Really makes a huge difference for us. We love our little one to death but adult time is a must too
