Anyone in Canada taking this payment? I’m being told I’m only going to get 201.00 a week on regular ei whenever I do get approved (waiting over 3 weeks) I’ve been off since March 17th with no income.

I’m afraid to just apply for this in case it messes up my eligibility for maternity and paternal leave once the 4 months of CERB are over....

Anyone have insight on this or has talked to ei/cra about it?

I know this isn’t the place for it but I’m honestly lost.... I need income lol I have bills to pay!!

I also worked full time and had over 5000 hours.

My roe does say that I’m off with illness because that is what ei told me I needed to go off on sickleave early, but I am laid off earlier due to covid 19 my work place isnt open.
