C section side effects?

I had a C section for my child birth and now I am having pains in my upper neck. Back of the head and lower back. Is this normal? Anyone else went through this?

Okay so I had my second c-section 3/9 and I had pain in my upper shoulder and all across my back both times. I mentioned this to my dr this time and he told me that it is from the trapped air sewn up during surgery. He explained there’s no way to avoid getting air trapped inside you, it travels upwards and causes the pain. He also said lower right quadrant pain is common. I had a pain there while trying to breathe deeply.

I was told these are gas pains. Seems odd but your digestive system is shut down and learning to start again, gas pain shoots up to your neck and shoulders

I had those and was told it was gas pain as well. They were a nightmare! I wanted to cry from the pain! I was given GasX for it in hospital but it never really helped unless I got the pain meds.

Me too!  I dont know what to do about it but I'm going to ask my doctor next week.
