Just a small rant because being in lockdown I don’t really have anyone to rant to about this.

So my country has been in lock down since March 26th and that’s pretty much where it all started, my in-laws live right next to my parents and when the lockdown started myself, my partner and my 10 month old daughter decided to isolate at my parents house during this lockdown because my IL have their daughter staying with them whom has come from one of our town who have had the biggest cases of Covid-19 and to keep my family safe until we knew she was in the clear I was going to be at my parents. Boy did this lead to a massive fight between my partner and his parents about how I must hate their family and “I’m just some chick he got pregnant”. This was horrible but after a few days of everyone calming down I sucked it up for the benefit of my partner and my child but then about a weeks they got in to another fight which lead to them saying I was a dictator and constantly dictating his life when in fact the only thing I ask him to help me with is our child. Once again I bit sucked it up as I don’t want him to fight with his family or my kids to miss out on having their grandparents, but I am at my limit now a few days ago and then it was brought up again yesterday that I am spending to much money on my daughter because I bought her a cheep tablet for her birthday for the car and then because I wouldn’t accept second hand draws or a bassinet for this baby and I explained that it was not practical for me as I had a baby 10 months ago I know what works for me. Not once have they actually sat down with me and asked if I could afford new things or anything, and I wouldn’t buy new stuff for my baby if I couldn’t afford and as for buying my daughter and birthday gift they can’t really tell me what I can and cannot buy
