Perinatal Hypoxia

Has anyone dealt with this before? When my son was a newborn he was resuscitated and it took a while to bring him back and they said it was fine and that was that. He’s 19 months now and started developing a shake all over his body and these fits that we thought was seizures, he had an eeg and they confined they were not seizures( a small breath of relief) and then he went to a pediatric neurologist and she said her hunch is he may have lasting brain damage from the apoxia is at birth

Has anyone’s child been diagnosed with this? What is the long term outcome- obviously I’m worried about the worst for obvious reasons and need some support from moms who have experienced this before?
