When I gave birth to my second daughter, I made a goal to breastfeed for 6 months. It was a rough journey. I started supplementing at 2 weeks old. She stop latching at 4 months so I switched to just pumping. Well she turned 6 months old on Monday and I packed up my pump today. I wish I had a freezer full of milk like some people do but that’s not what my breastfeeding journey had in store for me. I made it to my goal but I’m mentally and physically exhausted.
