Cleaning potty chair

So I'm going to start potty training my little girl. I bought her a little elmo toilet to use. But my question is... Do you sanitize it after each use? What's the quickest way? And do you just dump the contents into the real toilet after she's done her business? 🚽🤷🏻‍♀️
