WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? 😭

My boyfriend and I have been dating over a year now and we hang out everyday.But when ever the time comes when he has to go home I break down crying. I can’t help it and idk why I do it. What is my problem 😭😭😭😭

It sounds like you have some serious attachment issues and separation anxiety and some other things that you need to work on as well. Being clingy or behaving like this is not healthy. Spending time apart is healthy. Having a life of your own and hobbies. Spending time with friends or family or dog walking or exercise or reading a book or pamper yourself etc. remember that a man doesn’t complete you or define you or your happiness, you do. Happiness comes from within. Don’t ever depend on anyone for your happiness or you will surely be let down. I have a man that I have been with a while and if things ended I would be ok because life exists outside of him. My world doesn’t revolve around him. There is more to life than just him. Work on your issues. Before they become toxic behaviors and lead to control or jealousy or possessiveness or insecurities. None of which are healthy. That’s lack of trust and insecurities usually stemming from previous experiences like being cheated on before or your parents relationship etc. maybe your father left your mom and you have the same fears. It’s ok to be alone. Pamper and take care of yourself and keep yourself busy. Volunteer: read to the blind or children in a hospital or feed the homeless at a soup kitchen etc. sometimes you just need a change of prospective and not focus on yourself but on others instead. Nothing in life is guaranteed except death and taxes. Break ups, death, accidents happen, usually things you have no control over. But you gotta deal with things as they come. Otherwise you fall to pieces and more baggage that you have to deal with. You gotta stop that behavior or he will get sick of it. It’s the same thing with a toddler. Eventually you get tired of the crying especially after a long day. And can also be interpreted as guilt and manipulation tactics whether you realize it or not. You gotta toughen up. It’s a cruel world I’m sorry.

Nothing wrong with it...it will lessen with time and you will be come more comfortable with him leaving as you guys get closer and spend more time together. Be gentle with yourself, there isnt anything wrong with u.
