My 4 month old just found her thumb. We went through the whole sucking on her hand and shoving her entire fist in her mouth. And now she’s literally like this all day 👍🏽. Thumb out. She used to suck her middle three fingers but now it’s only thumb. Allll dayyyy. I tried to look up how to prevent future thumb sucking (because it is my nightmare), but the only thing that comes up is how to stop kids who already do it.

Any suggestions as to how to PREVENT it???

She will not suck on a pacifier. She spits them all out and we’ve tried like 5+ brands, just wasting money. 🤦🏽‍♀️
