So I live in Southern California and since I can’t do this in the dmv I’m trying to see my options on how I can renew my tags, title transfer & registration. We just bought a car from a private party

Preferably I don’t like doing it online, I’d much rather speak to someone but I don’t know if they can do this over the phone or not. I don’t know what I can do 😩 it just confuses me online. I know I can do the registration and name change online but I don’t see an option to renew your tags

I’ve heard that there’s a little machine outside the dmv and you can get your tags there, which seems strange cause I’ve never seen that before. Can someone help me, I don’t know what I can do
