My husband is an alcoholic and can admit it finally. I grabbed our 3 kids and left our home a few days ago and he seems to be opening his eyes a bit on this issue. He wants the help. I’m just not sure where to begin? His dad is an alcoholic and has been since my husband can remember. He would beat my MIL and verbally abuse her in front of them and she never left or tried to get him to change. Where would my husband go to get the correct help? I’m so lost as we never in our life had to deal with this type of stuff growing up. I decided to leave that day bc he was starting to get very verbally abusive towards me and I told him I wouldn’t be going back until he looked for help and I saw change.
