Hcg levels?

Following a miscarriage how long did it take for your levels to return to 0?

Miscarried Friday-Saturday last week. Went to the doctors on Monday for a checkup and my hcg level was still 800. I have to go back on Monday for repeat blood work. Is this normal? Has anyone had similar experiences?

It's been 4 weeks exactly since my MC and I just got a negative test today, so I know my levels are back down to <25, I'm expecting at least another week until AF shows up.

Yes, it took me 4 weeks for my levels to drop completely. It's very hard to continue to go through blood draws and ultrasounds just to keep telling people you're not pregnant. It's been extremely hard, but now with my levels finally at 0 I feel I can start to gain some closure. I am so sorry for your loss.

No. I was pregnant April 1st with a positive test. By 9 pm that night my HCG was 18. So I miscarried really fast. And my levels were zero the next  week

I was a little over 9 weeks along when I miscarried. At our 1st appointment at almost 8 weeks we found out we were experiencing a missed miscarriage. I took cytotec to induce the miscarriage a little over a week (and another sono to confirm) later and my levels were still at 28,000 after a week and a half! They didn't go down to almost zero until 4 weeks. My cycle finally came back 2 days later. So sorry you are going through this, it is truly devastating. Positive thoughts your way!

I miscarried in September and had a d and c the same month. My hcg levels just dropped this past friday. And I just now got my period and a negative pregnancy test. I also had my levels checked every week till they went down. I was only 6 weeks when. I lost the baby. So yes it's very possible for it to take a while everyone's body are different.
