My daughter had the stomach bug 5 weeks ago. I put her stuffed animal in quarantine because it can’t go in the wash. Is it safe to give back to her without officially washing it? Are all if the germs dead? TIA!

EDIT: Thanks for the advice ladies! It was already falling apart, that’s why I was hesitant about washing it. My husband gave it to her first thing 🤦🏽‍♀️ but I grabbed it and wiped it with a Clorox wipe when she was eating breakfast. Washed her hands and mine and changed our clothes. I’m hoping it was okay anyway (after 5 weeks) but the LAST thing we need is that bug back. Thanks again!
