Do not listen to any of these people. They're no professional body piercers. A few questions. How long have you had it pierced? What are you using to clean it? Are you sleeping on it? By any means do not clean it with rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide

You're getting a keliod, clean with warm water and sea salt or warm water and gentle antibacterial soap. Don't lay on it either

Yes it is I would take it out it could cause a ear infection or go back to the place that pierced it to see if they can clean it properly but it's red and has pus so I most likely is infected

Don't use alcohol ! It's developing a keloid. If you want to be stubborn and keep it at least get a hoop and cleAn it with warm dilluted sea salt water, use tea tree oil to help battle the keloid and keep it washed with antibacterial soAp. But if keloid doesn't shrink within the week take it out. Cartilage ear piercings are difficult to heal without developing keloids.

This happened to me when I got the piercing done at Claire's with a gun. I didn't know any better at the time. Turns out they get very easily infected that way. Take it out, see a doctor for methods to heal it. And if you want it back, go to a tattoo place and have them pierce your ear with a needle. It's sterile, and doesn't hurt after (at least mine didn't).
