Is my baby the only one that doesn't like the swing or the bouncer??

My baby is going to be 8 weeks tomorrow. And I have never successfully had her in either for more than 5 minutes before she starts crying. I feel like the swing would give me more liberty to do stuff around the house but she hates it all. Will she eventually like it?!

My son never liked his swing. He eventually loved being in his bouncer (not bouncing) because he liked playing with the toys attached to it.

Does your swing go side to side or front to back? My baby only likes going front to back and will fuss and scream if you make it go side to side.

I get 10-20 minutes out of the swing which is enough for me to do a few things, but she certainly won’t hang out in it by herself for long periods of time. She really isn’t happy unless held so it’s a struggle. She’s 4 mo old.

My first 2 hated the swing so I'm not even going to get one for this one. They did like the bouncer for the most part. I used it all the time when I would shower and put them in the bathroom with me, so maybe they just liked the running water. 
Do you have a carrier of any kind? My second I basically wore non stop.

My youngest hated the swing. I have the one where the seat comes off and it’s a bouncer. He even hated sitting in just the bouncer. When he was that little, I was only able to do housework while he was sleeping.

My son is 6 months old and has never seen been a fan of either. There’s the occasional day, once in a blue moon where he will like his swing if there’s a toy on it, but that’s rare... it’s just gotten worse since he’s been wanting to crawl.

Mine wasn't a fan either. I loved it as a kid so I was surprised that some don't. But, damn, we spent a lot of money on it!
