My 8 year old had been complaining for the past 4 days about her boobs (lack there of) hurting. I had her show me where today. It was around her nipple region. She has started developing her buds. She that had me thinking “crap”. So I did the hair inspection. She has dark hairs under arms and on her pelvic bone.

Family history: hubby has four sisters. They all had their first cycles between 9-10. My sister and I started at 11.

Now I know it can take a few years for first cycle. But I’m in the dark lol. I’m not sure how to do the talk and not freak her out. I want to make her a care package but not sure what to put in it. I want to offer self care tips to her, but I can’t as my depression is kicking my ass and I haven’t been taking care of myself.

Any advice would be great. No negative comments please.
