How does he breath?

Is this really ok? There’s no way he’s truly getting enough oxygen... his entire nose is smashed into the mattress.

I once shoved my face into my son's mattress to see if it really was "breathable." It was and I feel better now 😂

As long as he’s on an infant firm mattress with fitted sheet only, he’s fine. 👍🏼 My girl does this too. But this exactly why soft sleep spaces and blankets, etc aren’t safe as they could close what little airway is left.

I have always beard that as long as your following safe sleep practices that it is fine to leave them, but I go in and turn her head if she’s like this just for my own piece of mind.

I found an alternative to the Newton mattress and it is indeed breathable. No more worries! My baby sleeps exactly the same
