Home Birth?

FTM due May 31st and I was wondering if with whats going on and trump wanting to reopen everything May 1st... if things get worst and no one allowed in delivery room but patient... would you consider home birth? I am so scared with everything going on and my husband is my support for everything... anyone else scared 😢

Trump can say he wants to reopen everything on may first all he wants. It’s ultimately up to the states to decide when to go back to normal. LA extended their stay at home order until the end of may and will reassess as things go on.

i haven’t seen anywhere not allow a support person yet. i’ve seen some women say the support person is only
allowed there until baby’s born and then they have to go. mine is allowed to be there the whole time i am. and i can have a different visitor every 24 hour period but they’re trying to get you home after a day . 
home births scare me, if something happens and you can’t get to a hospital fast enough your screwed. that scares me more than possibly giving birth alone

Having a planned home birth already! I’m honestly relieved that I don’t have to be in a hospital during this. I get my midwife, her student, my husband, and my daughter at the birth...all the support people I could ask for and I don’t have to worry about exposure.

I'm having my second planned home birth. I wouldn't want to be in a hospital even without everything going on.
