Ears??? 4 months

Baby girl has been hitting at her ear. Is this normal development for this age? Or could it be irritating her? I feel like maybe she found her ear or something?? Is your babe doing the same?

Mine is starting to grab ears too. I thought maybe teething but don’t see teeth yet 🤷🏽‍♀️

Oh my gosh my daughter has been doing this as well! She reaches for them and rips them forward all the time and I was worried they were bothering her/start of an infection! Glad to hear we aren’t the only ones!

I’ve read babies grabbing at their ears is a sign of tiredness? Not sure if that’s what is going on with your babe but just a thought if it’s happening around nap time.

My guy started this right when he turned 4 months. Luckily, he had his 4 mo well visit and the doctor checked his ears and all was well. He only did it for about a week.

My son has been doing the same except he’s also been kinda pulling them. Have been afraid of it being an ear infection. But he hasn’t seemed bothered other then grabbing at it. So I was thinking he may have just found his ear

My daughter is doing the same. I was afraid she might have an ear infection but she has no signs of that. I think she just found out she has ears and that she can touch them
