Need advice about kidney defects/ umbilical cord complications
I’m currently 25 wks pregnant, and along with some complications with the cord (VCI, SUA) we were told a couple weeks ago that our baby boy has only one kidney - the right kidney has never developed. We got a fetal echocardiogram for the heart and they said everything looks good there.
Has anyone faced similar issues or have knowledge that can help me? What should I be researching about pregnancy, long term care, baby’s health, etc?
